Good morning from cold, windy and snowy Northeast Ohio! Got some stuff done this week! First a 50' Atlas FMC 5503 Boxcar kit, painted with Scalecoat II Tuscan and Silver Paints, then lettered with Herald King Decals. Car was in General Service on the SP and SSW, The SP had several hundred cars in this class. Next a Proto 2000 PS 4427CF Covered Hopper kit, added a Plano Roofwalk and car was painted with Scalecoat II ATSF Red Paint and lettered with Oddballs Decals. This was a replacement for the 40' boxcars previously used in the grain service. Finally, a couple of Athearn FP7's pitching in as replacement power on an abbreviated "General" so far have received 8 of the 13 cars that Walther's is doing. Train is running on the Strongsville Club layout. Have a great weekend! Rick Jesionowski
Street lights, traffic lights, Miller Engineering sign, also need to replace the Trackside Transfer kit with the Walthers Modern Gas Station and run a LED light to it? Let there be lights, again! Once again, it looks so much better in real life. Also trying to hook up a smart wall socket plug so I can just turn on the lights with Alexa, but I named some of the plugs years ago, and no matter what I do, I can't delete the old stupid names I chose so it won't work correctly? I've tried resetting them, deleting them and adding them back, nothing works yet. I can turn them off and on with my iPhone, but just want to tell Alexa to turn them OFF or ON from across the room. I like having them ON even when not running trains I'll try to add the Modern Gas Station wire up the one LED as I only have on slot left, and take another photo?
I had a rock slide once. Had to ride fast to stop the Express. Stop, stop, stop!!!! They did it, just tim time.
It's been a while, Candy. Good to see you back. BTW, I'll take either the T-bird or a Ford coupe. Not fussy.
Replaced the WS Transfer Kit with the Walthers Modern Gas Station. Have to add some details at some point. Also ran out of slots on my one Just Plug Hub. Time to order some Just Plug items. Think I am going to get the last traffic light too. Have to see if I have a spot for it. Not that it matters, I can always use it somewhere. BTW, anyone know how wide I would cut some styrene for a sidewalk in inches please in front and possibly on the side of the 3 houses! 3/8, 1/2, etc...? Trying some basic grass too, just to get an idea!
