    Such a beautiful station at GJ. I recall our stop there on the CZ in 2004, and the fresh fruit stand strategically located at the station... Delicious fruit!

    That really is a beautiful station. Even more so with that silver dome-observation car next to it.

    I looked around on the Internet and it appears that it's still there, unused, but stabilized against further decay. I think a developer is now involved, which could bring the capital needed for a full renovation. It is indeed a beautiful station. (y)

    In 2004 when I passed thru on the CZ, it was closed and fenced off, but seemed to be in fairly decent shape. Anyone got recent pics of it?

    I recall hearing or reading about a developer. That was a year or two back? But all quiet since then.

    That sounds about right; what I read was a bit sketchy. I didn't find that there was a specific plan on what the station was to house upon completion.
