Yes! And there was some kind of Star Wars "town" of some sorts at the other corner.

 

They were encouraged to bring their own trains to run on the layouts. Each time they run on one layout, a "ticket" is signed off by the layout club.

If they run on every layout and present all the tickets at the end, they get a prize. (Sorry, don't know what the prize was.)

 

Love it, great layout!

I like the auto reload area and the drive-in theater, which is playing "Unstoppable"!

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!

I was wondering if anyone would noticed. (Note, it wasn't my module)

 

I've only sen that movie once or twice(or was it 20...?), can pretty much know it, frame for frame!

 

Well, a little surprise came in the mail today. From Micro-Trains nevertheless.

I submitted my group photo of the Gathering to them for a contest and I was selected as a Runner-Up. So what's the prize? They took my photo, shrunk it down and printed it on a 50th Micro-Trains Anniversary 60' box car!!!! How--cool--is--that????
