I keep thinking they used to send us a message about considering a price (lower) change. At least that is what comes out of the long ago fog.... I quit selling there, Fall of 2008, when they changed the Feedback system to one way street favoring buyers.

They should have used a Kato box, for a much higher sale profit.

If I list this, how much should I ask? It is even better than the Readers Digest High Speed gems. Loop and peg coupling. It was actually sold by Lionel in a blister pack on cardboard. Nominally N scale but N gauge for sure. Excellent "Brio" action.

I suppose some child, somewhere, was smitten by such a loco, and forever hooked on model railroading...

But goodness, that thing is ugly! Just the kind of ugly that someone will pay for, somewhere. If nothing more than an acknowledgement of how far N scale models have come.

    'Safety rails' indeed!

Don't forget V-Line produced an A and B sharknose shell as well.

The seller picked the one photo angle that would expose the (admittedly functionally harmless) mistake. But one has to wonder; how well was the rest of the bench built?
