As I am up at the Armadillo Ranch for a few days, I have nothing new to post. So here is an oldie. A Rowa Y6b made to resemble an SP AC6 cab forward.

Recently came across some floppy disks from my old Sony Mavica camera. Had a few shots from a layout I had in the 1990's. Notice the automobiles in the foreground. Before Mini-Metals, N scale modelers had to use 1/144 scale model cars which are a bit oversized.

Went a little out of our way today to visit the historic Santa Fe station in Lampasas, TX. It appears in some places online as a museum but is, unfortunately, closed. Even so, it seems to be in good condition.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Electrical Vehicle Charging Station ( EVCS ), on the Eads diorama. The White & Red car next to Silver pump. I think it might work? I can also hide the white electrical shed behind the gas price sign too :) Man I love these tiny Glue Dots, use them for almost everything I can, cause unlike glue I can just remove the item and the glue dot, pretty cool! I used them on the hedges, the EV pump, the gas price sign, etc... and they are clear too! And use them on N Scale figures too. Need to add some people to the scene in the future.

Thanks still needs some work, don't know why electrical shack looks Pink it is White? Need some parking spot lines, etc... Maybe cut a styrene base for it, or chop off the little tab that is for the pump to go on the base as see in the background gas pump area! Would like to draw a Lighting Bolt in the parking spot as I have called it Silver Lighting EVCS for some strange reason. Not sure if I have the talent, but hey, I can paint over it. And gonna try to make a sign for it? This little diorama has been fun so far.

Here are a couple of the areas I worked on this past weekend. Trackwork for Specialty Minerals and ballast and scratchbuilt unloading area for Stratas Foods. There is more info and additional photos in my post in the Weekend Modeling Progress thread.

Is that natural light from a window? If not, what type of lighting are you using to achieve that effect? It looks very natural.

    This is build in 1:220.
Thus, you can take your layout and place it in the sun.

Once you have sufficient lux, then you can even place it correctly in time!

Most importantly you can adjust the angle to the sun, which allows you to prototypically play with light and shadow.........
