Hi everyone! Only 2 1/2 weeks until the big N Scale convention in Nashville! I'm putting together a slide show to play on a loop during the TrainBoard/UMTRR Meet Up or Online Modelers Meet Up as it is officially listed. If you have any pics of models or layout that you would like to share, I'd love to include them. You can post them here or PM them to me with any title or description, and I'll add them in. Other than the slide show, they won't be posted anywhere else. This will be a great way to promote TrainBoard during the meet up. If you are coming, I look forward to seeing you there! One more thing: This is an open invitation to all TrainBoard members even if you are not able to attend this convention! Thanks, Richard
I don't know how many you want or need. I've built four layouts over the years, 1st and 3rd have been sold, I still have the 2nd and 4th. These are pics of the second layout... pick and choose what you like! Here are pics from the 4th layout. Again, use whatever strikes your fancy: Layout 4-197 by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:32 PM Layout 4-196 by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:31 PM Layout 4-195 by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:31 PM Layout 4-188 by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:30 PM Layout 4-137 by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:27 PM Layout 4-135 by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:26 PM Layout 4-090a by Bookbear1 posted May 30, 2022 at 8:25 PM
Thanks! Both layouts were built with the intention of their being able to be moved. The second layout (smaller) has backdrops mounted on lightweight freestanding PVC pipe floor stands that are not attached to the layout. The larger fourth layout has the backdrop (actually a photo mural) mounted on foam core panels that are attached to the layout base with magnets for easy removal when the layout travels. I've gotten a lot of great responses so far. Keep 'em coming! Pics of you, pics of your layout, pics of a favorite model you have bult or painted, it's all good stuff and I appreciate all the participation! You all are great!
Here are six of my N Scale Delaware, Susquehanna & Northern. I find that taking pictures of models is far more difficult than taking pictures of the real thing.
I dragged out some 28 year old slides to scan. Very under exposed so some scan lines pop up when I tried to lighten them a bit in photoshop. Imperial Sugar NTRAK modules.
Oh, I might want to add this older photo of a M-T CN&L boxcar on my former railroad I painted and decaled. There are no CN&L decals available, so every letter was separately cut and placed on both sides, even the Scotchlite strip. It being my hometown railroad, I just had to have one.
