Good morning from sunny and cold Northeast Ohio! We may get snow later in the day/evening.

Did not get any modeling done this week due to a bowling tournament over last weekend and staying at my son's house while some major plumbing work was being done at our house. So you are going to get an old photograph I took at the club.

Rapido New Haven FL9's with a mixed milk and passenger train leaving the station on the Strongsville, OH Club layout.

    Thanks for looking!

Found an old background when cleaning up my train stuff a few weeks ago. Just a mock up and fairly bare of anything else as I continue to wire and such. Me like it though. Although it's not 48", I'll have to get a new one or something in the future. Excuse the wrinkle too :) Guess I have to buy some sort of propane, or fuel type rolling stock now? My containers don't make a lot of sense in that scene do they? Of course it's what I have and like best for now, so it is what it is :) Once again the paint job on the Refinery looks fine at Normal viewing distance. Silly camera showing my bad painting skills :)

Cool pics. (Also, let's stop with the snow.) New giant fibers. What next?

The newest steam locomotive on my roster. Reading 4-8-4 T-1 by Broadway Limited.

Yes, I believe 2102 made a move under its own power this past week. I think I read it was on Wednesday.

    I second that! :)

The amount of detail is fantastic, especially in the valve gear/drive train area. I have a Broadway USRA light Mikado and it's the same level of detail. I compared it to a photo of the same engine (GT 3715) in a book on the Grand Trunk (New England) and it's identical.

You have a fine engine there.

This is a Trains Newswire report, though you may have to sign up with Trains magazine to view it.

This is a TNONLINE report. I don't believe membership is required.

SP #5817 leading a train across Piru Creek while a fan takes in the scene. Oh, and a passenger takes care of business.

Many ladies would walk away in disgust once they noticed a particular detail in this scene while at a show. I was always OK with the uptight folks moving along.

The Montreal Vermont and Essex club down in Montreal's east end - very attentive to detail - has the same canine doing his #1 on a fire hydrant:

I think we have the canine equivalent of the legendary Kilroy... :D
