Having at one time lived close to Valliant, OK,I saw an awful lot of 50-footers with TOE marking roll thru town. My favorite is the blue car with narrow red & yellow striping, much like the one in this photo from the Fallen Flags RR site.

Not bad - but is it just me or does it look like the "and" was an afterthought?

Not much left of the old Dierk's Lumber empire, but they donated a few steamers. Number 207 still resides on the Tulsa fairgrounds.

Looks like we are reviving an almost decade-old thread here.

If we were to get this car as a special run, which model would we use? The offset double plug door configuration is a bit unusual. I don't know of many HO models that would fit the bill.

There are some good candidates for a 'stand in' model, but none have all the main spotting features. Athearn has an FMC car with the modern exterior-post look, but the doors are centered and not plug type either.

I found a few other TO&E cars in the same scheme. It looks like they had some high-cube waffle-style cars, which are similar to the Roundhouse model. Again, wrong door configuration (single plug), but a kitbash or aftermarket door kit could fix the issue.

Ok so they are PC&F double plug door boxcars built in 7-80 and the cubic capacity is 5347 or 5377 I can't tell.

There is one more common carrier but I can't find it...I remember the boxcars I saw from the 80s... just can't remember what I did with all those pictures...
