Living in Panama City, Florida. I decided to get back into trains a few years ago. Since Märklin is what I had as a kid I stayed with it. I don't have a lot of room, so I went with z scale. I built the obligatory briefcase layout and then a larger shelf layout. Lots of stuff in the works too.
Hi @JeepFan and welcome. I happened to be reading about the new Wrangler Rubicon 392 this morning, with its 6.4L Hemi and 470 HP. That'll raise a lot of trail dust I'll bet.
That would be quite something. I still like the old AMC product, way too much electronics on the new ones.
I learned to drive with a 1947 Willys Jeep. The only difference between it and the ones of the WW-II European and the Pacific campaigns was that ours was painted black with red seat cushions. It still had the original Willys 60HP four-cylinder flat head engine with six forward and two reverse gears thanks to the transfer case. I could walk faster than it moved idling in bulldog low. Great "sports car" driving with canvas off, windshield down, and wearing ski goggles.
