    Using Loksound5 5 and I removed the LED on AUX 3 and replaced with leads to another LED for use as a strobe light. What are the CV settings for using as a Mars light?.

    so far tried
    CV 31=16
    CV32=2 and then tried 3 register
    CV354=128
    CV371=2
    CV112=20
    CV257=36
    CV273=40
    CV452=8
    CV292=141

    I’ve tried a lot of settings, haven’t found what works. If anyone knows, would greatly appreciate some help, thank you.

    For AUX3 Table on pg80-82 states
    CV291 for AUX3 = 13 Mars light
    CV 294 brightness =25
    CV 295 use LED instead of bulb function = 128
    Special function 2 & 3 confused on, but so far LED on AUX hard wired to pad is on when track power is on, cannot turn off.

    Hey Breech.... I removed the LED 5.. so I can attach another white pre-wired led for the headlight. Do you know which of the pads are + and - ? I'm wondering if the LED 3 you removed has similar polarity positions.

    No need for the hardware. The software has a submenu where is kicks back the CV list recipe code list so then I can take that grocery list and punch it in. I’ve listed what I’ve tried in above posts, but so far, red Mars light stays in on mode and not blinking, tried rate of blink etc.

    Thanks for the posting. I wasn't sure how long it might take for you to respond, so I ended up soldering test wires... I think I missed your post by about an hour. Oh well. I did end up knocking off LED AUX 1 in the process. There's so little space on these guys. yikes.

    I have aux 3 wired on main pads and another led on the pad and neg on orange cap. I still can’t figure out which CV settings to make the LED blink. If anyone knows, would appreciate any help.

    If you have an LED wired between the positive pad and a board ground, it will always be on. You are completely bypassing the decoder outputs. The Aux pads are negative. The blue common wire is positive.

    Anyone know the positive / negative points on LED AUX4 and LED light back? When I installed the speaker & enclosure I needed to shave down the clear plastic piece of the rear light, so the shell would fit. The current on board LEDs there do not bleed enough to the rear light. I'll need to put a LED manually and run it close.

    Not sure if I understand the question for sure but can't you unsolder the rear LED and use the rear LED pads to run to the new LED like shown above a few posts? That would save Aux 4 if you ever wanted to use it,
