I recently moved from California to North Carolina and discovered three boxes of HO engines, cars and all things model railroad that had not been opened for 39 years. I am a retired Architect (75 now) thinking about emptying those boxes and doing a layout. When I was a kid, I had an American Flyer setup. It got dismantled to make room for a drum set and jazz group sessions. When I went to college in 1963, my parents gave away the collection. What a mistake that was! When my daughter was 3 (1978) I bought a used set on a 4x8 board and enjoyed several years of planning and modeling in my spare time. Daughter never did take to the hobby and then it got packed up. So.....here I am today just looking for others successful adventures in model railroading. Steve Hardison
