Looks good. Did you build the interiors too? The real one had some unique looking display cases built into them.

Seems to me someone else did the same thing and shared it here on TB. You might want to get your two trains together.

yes, that was club layout in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

 

I knew that layout looked familiar from videos, Mike Fifer is a member too, right

 

Add a GS4 to the front end and that train will pop.

I shall do that just for you, my friend, and SP man. Check Wednesday evening and I should have it posted. BTW I know of another set done by Russell Straw that is very nice as is usual.

But if you want to be prototypical, the GS4 pulled the 1975/76 Freedom Train.

This thread is making me want to work on my 47/48 train, need to decal it, currently its just the "white train."

And work on a few cars for the 75/76 train that are closer to the proto than some of the ones Lowell Smith did.
