Actually, they took test shots to the show in Las Vegas in October. The intent was to float a 'test balloon' on end-user reaction. There are several issues on doing it in N-Scale that they do not face in HO. Will you accept this as the first production N-Scale freight car with body mount couplers? Will it sell if it won't handle 9.75"r curves? As for myself and many of our customers who we have discussed it with they all agree the additional detail allowed with body mount couplers are worth it even with reduced capability. I have spoken to IMRC and wholeheartedly endorsed the release of these cars with body-mounts. Hopefully we will see something this year on it but only time will tell. At the time we did the tour of the factory, they had contract work for their tooling machines backed up, or at least scheduled, for about 1 year. So time is clearly the big issue.
