    I saw "Von Ryan's Express" with my buddy when it was originally released in the theater (that's how old i am) and haven't seen it, entirely, since, even though it's been on TV several times.

    Saw this on Facebook;

    "What is the bet thing about being over 50? We did all our stupid stuff before the invention of the internet, so there is no proof!"

    Been away a bit so a catch up
    I am a car guy but I gave up working on them after my 1983 Mustang GT. My current car is the Mustang Bullitt and with a dozen computers inside the beast, well no sense working on it.

    The other post I liked, was all of us over 50 do not need to worry about our younger days showing up on the Internet. I, for one, would not like my daughter or even my friends to ever see what I did in the 80's and 90's.

    I think we all ought to teach them what it was like living in a free country. Seems like a part of their education we missed. We should gather our grandchildren, strip them of their phones and other spy devices, go out in the middle of nowhere and do something absolutely stupid.

    80's and 90's.... Try the 60's and 70's, when it was really wild.... and freedom reined!!

    I will most likely not see any grandchildren, My daughter was born when I was 49. The late start was because of my profession in the 80's and 90's, I was always away in other countries dealing with bad guys. I do understand your point, I am trying to let my daughter know as much as I can about freedoms.

    One of the best lines I have ever heard, or read :) Someone probably said the same thing about the invention of film and camera's at one time :) Now we are double screwed, not only pictures and videos, but posted for the world to see. I'm so happy this stuff was not around when I was in high school :)

    I have jumped out of perfectly good airplanes. repelled out of helicopters and down building sides and ran into burning buildings while others where running out. Plus later crawled under desks and other objects to defuse explosive devices. Now very much older and feeling all of the negative affects of an interesting life. Somehow in all that I have raised 4 well adjusted kids and stayed married to the same woman for over 50 years. Even managed to put the Missus through nursing school and that is paying off now for me although I jokingly refer to her as Nurse Diesel.

    You know when you are getting old when it takes a week and still don't have rear brakes on....
