Are there any manufacturer of structures that offers a Union Station Classic Looking Train Station prevelant in the transition era? Have not foung anything in my searches yet. Any Union Station type Station (hopefully with a clock tower) would make me happy.
Perhaps Walthers Item 933-3257 might be a contender. https://www.walthers.com/union-station-kit-16-x-6-x-5-1-2-quot-40-x-15-x-16-2cm Platforms are available too, Walthers 933-3258. https://www.walthers.com/butterfly-style-station-platform-shelter-kit-pkg-8
Long ago a few of the European manufactures (Brawa, Helgan, Rapido etc.) produced kits for some pretty big stations. It might take some work to "Americanize" them but it shouldn't be impossible. I don't know if those kits are still available and if they are be prepared for some serious sticker-shock.
I think I can work with the Walthers Station and Platforms. May look for a trainshed vs the betterfly platforms. I had a beautiful Station adn platforms that was kitbashed by a friend for me back in the 90's but that disappeared in a later leak in the lower floor. Ral shame too. It was nice and multiple level streets and arrival tracks.
Another vote for the Walther's station. My idea is to have 5 resident RRs at my Union Station (BN, CRI&P, GT, PC, and Turtle Creek Central). Each road will have a track for commuters and one for long distance trains. Will probably need two stations melded together. Like the idea of a trainshed, but it's like having a tunnel. How do you get in there when things get stupid ??? DEFINITELY love the clock tower idea, but my clocks would have to work. 7:15 forever is something from Twilight Zone !!! I chose my roads so you can get ANYWHERE from my Union Station !!!

The Walthers Union Station is a beautiful kit in terms of fit, function. Did one for a local club. Sprayed it in concrete finish with a light wash. Note, you would be best served to have a floor in the main hall to look in at. A buddy did me a printed photo tiled floor which I stuck some benches to.
Heck, build two of these 'end to end' as a huge headhouse, and have the tracks stub end into the back. Lots of those trains sheds needed as well. You'd need some serious room though.
Randy, Custom Model Railroads (CMR) has a large 2-story station, headhouse and platform shelter set that has been released recently and is available at major retailers. The CMR kit numbers are 098, 099, 100 and 101. - Tonkphilip
I have these kits... never got around to build them because they would not fit on my layout space. I do love the architecture of these buildings. I also have Walthers Union station... not built for the same reason.
I've been looking at the space required and it is going to require some serious remodelling. With enough remodelling, I can get a couple stub end passenger tracks around 8' long and hopefully an REA freight depot. I NEED ANOTHER ROOM!!!
