The voting for the Seventeenth Annual N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards will open soon! You may vote for one vehicle in the New model category, and for one vehicle in the Enhanced model category. I will post a link to vote online as soon as the voting site is ready.

You can preview the nominees on the sample ballot shown below:

Here is the link for voting online: https://www.nscaleenthusiast.com/nsestore/NSE_Vehicle_Voting17.asp

Remember to vote before the June 30, 2021 deadline, and only vote for one model in each category. While you are not required to vote for a model in each category, doing so helps me in tabulating the votes! Each member of a household who has an interest in N scale vehicle models is encouraged to vote; however, please limit the voting so that each person votes only once in each category.

If the Trainworx Peterbilt 350 tanker rig doesn't win this in a landslide... I'll eat my hat or I'll just be disappointed.

Not that it doesn't deserve to win, but isn't it a re-issue?

The Trainworx Peterbilt 359 fuel tank truck is a re-issued model; which is why Carter has it listed in the "Enhanced N Scale Vehicle Nominees" category.

Yeah... I noticed it was a re-issue... but the 'tanker trailer' is new. I voted for the Ford tractor for new model. It is a good addition to the J-D's and Farmall.

Ah...I didn't pick up on that category. That makes sense.

Actually, I believe it is the same 33' tank trailer as the one that was used for the Trainworx stock number 55195 "Duel" movie truck, back in 2015.

I just deleted most of what I was about to post because Neville very accurately explained the history of the Trainworx tank trailer. I can add the Peterbilt 350 tractor was first released in 2016, so the 2020 release was the first time the Peterbilt 350 was paired with the tank trailer. That is why the model is in the enhanced category.

Also, since this year's N scale convention has been postponed, I just want it to be clear that there are only two ways to vote. You may vote online at this link: https://www.nscaleenthusiast.com/nsestore/NSE_Vehicle_Voting17.asp

Or, if you are a member of the N Scale Enthusiast, there is a mail-in ballot in the May/June/July issue that was recently mailed. Most choose to vote online, but not everyone has internet access, therefore the mail-in ballot has been sent out with the magazine.

And, I would like to thank everyone who has voted so far! Most manufacturers truly appreciate the interest that the N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards generates for their models.

Just a reminder that the voting for the Seventeenth Annual N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards ends June 30, 2021. While many have voted, the overall vote count is not as high as last year's at this time.

Thank you to all how have voted so far! And be sure to vote for one NEW model and one ENHANCED model.

Wow, what a difference a day makes! We now have more votes cast this year than last year! Thank you, and if you have a modeling friend with an interest in N scale vehicles, be sure to let them know they need to vote on or before June 30th.

Maybe we will even get a record number of votes this year!
