    Hey Everyone,

I've just uploaded the first batch of vehicles into my Thiniverse account.

    Varoom Varoom

I've been scouring the internet finding different vehicles to add to my layout. Each one has been adjusted in scale to 1:160 and then modified to print better - mostly through trial and error  but I've developed a good system now for better success!

I will be adding to the file as I process more vehicles but this is what I have so far.

The detail is quite impressive and if I had a macro lens on my camera I could zoom in on the JEEP on the front!

Nice. On Thingiverse you can take someone's project and remix it and then put the remix up for others to use. Is this an option with the files you are working with. I'm sure others wouldn't mind access to the files,

That's a good idea, although can you combine multiple sources of the files into one remix? Another snag is not all of the files have come from Thingiverse, some are from Tinkercad, FreeSTL etc.

I would think so as long as you give credit to the sources. I've only done it once.

I haven't used the other services so not sure what their policy is,

I'll sort that out and add a link to their account, plus reference the ones used from other sites.

Sorry, I was just trying to wrap my head around what you mean, access to the originals?

To be clearer, access to the ones you have modified that actually print,

    Ah, right-o.

the STL files should be there for them to download and print.

    Thanks,

All the files within the "Thing" are the final ones. I've tried to clarify this by adjusting the text to state that the current files are ones that I have modified, test printed and are happy with the results. I've also added in all the source locations too, but for some reason it has yet to update the info despite having pressed "save"?

Well somehow I missed the link to thingiverse.com up in the very first post .

In case I wasn't the only one....

When I finally start using my resin printer I'll try some of those but I'm more into pre 70's cars ;),
