I built 3 of the Tichy flatcars to a ready to start paint stage, they aren't too bad to build. The one big thing is putting the stake pockets on the side rails, not hard but tedious. Today (Tuesday), I'm going to put down my figure 8 of EZ Track and watch a train for a little while. I fought with getting pictures from my phone to my pc, no go. I'll have another go later, right now I'm frustrated so I'll leave it. The parts for the handrail projects came in the mail (KV Models), this is looking much better.
Have you tried to email them to yourself? Hit the up arrow in a box icon in the lower left corner, then select the mail icon on the menu screen to send them to your email folder then open and save the image files .
I just received this car in the mail this weekend. I replaced the trucks with some Atlas trucks I pulled off a Pressureaide hopper. They aren't great, but they're better than the trucks that came on the model. Once I get some better trucks I might bump the trucks on this model down to another model where they can't be seen as easily, such as under a flatcar. I also added an air line along the right side of the car. The air line is was available from Tangent. The couplers are Sergent SBE. I was prepared to replace the outlet gates on this model since the majority of prototypes I've seen use a different style, but the one prototype photo I found shows the same type.
I am late as yesterday was just a crazy day and I did not get on the computer until late. Today wasn't any easier. Over the weekend I did get all the foam down and the layout is ready for track. Part of the reason I missed yesterday is I was laying said track.
