LOL Well played Doug, well played. Now! Which blue of four to which blue of four? The same for the rest. Oh this is going to be fun. Hemi, You are so right! That's the only way this is going to happen.
That is not the Lucas way. Green to red, orange to black with brown flying lead, pink with stripe to blue with stripe, etc.
Do what they do on "Forensic Files" and microscopically match the cut ends. Piece of cake...er...wire. Doug
Doug, that is well played. Now then where did I put my microscope? Humm, they were all cut with the same cutting tool I doubt you'll find much difference. Sigh! Good one Doug, Good One.
Thank-you!! That reminds me. Merry Christmas to all of you out there in TB land. It will indeed be, "The ole trial and error method." Sir BNSF Fan. Each day I get closer to seeing the wires finally hooked up again. Me thinks I will be sort of jumping for joy. I don't know but I've seen drivers on the road turn cars into toasters. Not what I wanted to drive-up on during the Holiday's. Memories, work related. EH? You guys are fun to visit and banter about with. Thanks for tuning in, the likes and participating here. Let's keep it alive. Had my second visitors to the layout. Looks like Ken wants to get in on operating the trains. Funny, but now I have what was missing, friends who can physically show-up to help me enjoy the layout. You know the rest of you here are welcome. Do give me a heads up. No surprises!! I'm hoping Santa Claus will bring me a Video Camera that can take clear and well focused videos of the layout. Or a Challenger and maybe sneak in a Big Boy. Okay, so I can dream. As always, waiting and working toward a goal. Have fun. HO HO HO (and that's not HO trains, although that would be Okay too) from a retired Santa's Helper. Not a pusher engine! Later.
Merry Christmas Rick, really enjoy the banter and stories. If you are ever down El Paso way please do know we have a guest room, would be glad to have you!
Merry Christmas, Rick. I forgot, is the board Homasote? It looks like it. I built a couple of layouts with it back in ancient times and liked it. My current one is plywood and is heavy. Doug
No, I'm allergic to Homasote and don't know why? It's Particle Board and it too is heavy. The 3/4 particle board works best as does 5 ply plywood. I like the particle board as it's easier to cut and bend. Works great when it comes time to bend it to start or end a grade. Track nail tend to go in and come out easier. Mr. Richard, that is so kind of you but I'm an old grumpy fart and stink like an old man. I smell of cat's and all the side affects that come with them. Dry humor and can sometimes be very boring. You might want to reconsider that. I said with a grin! Thank-you! It is Christmas Day, nothing much going on here. The kids are out in the street trying out their new toys. I said I was going to have a train running. Test train perhaps but that's about all. Thank you for the Christmas Wishes, the likes and your participation. Camera is on the fritz. I will update pictures hopefully before the end of the week. In the meantime do as I am, enjoying the holidays and eating food that settles my stomach. Later.
Awww the speed square. I sort of know how to use it lol Whenever me and my father are doing some wood work we end up talking about it and then all of a sudden a neighbor hears ... ding .. ding ..ding as it hits the floor and slides back towards the tool box haha We did recently put a very nice fence together and did use the speed square to the best of our abilities! It came out very nice ! Beautiful !!!!
Sams, Wow on the likes!!! Glad you liked and enjoyed this thread. Thanks to you I picked up a trophy. I've never seen any of them but my trophy hutch is plenty full. Come on back and we can have some more fun. For everyone tuned in: Thanks go to all of you for your participation here and all the "Likes."
Good day Rick and happy day after Christmas! Many post back, you posted some about a MoW train you did. It would be fun to learn a little more about it sometime if you feel like sharing
