Santa is going to have a tough time tonight with gale warnings out, high wind warnings, and thunderstorms in the maritime province of Gloucester VA. But most of the Christmas meal prep is done and in the fridge and the generator is fueled in case of a power loss. The Missus has been busy delivering 4 types of fudge to various places and people and all the presents that managed to arrive have been wrapped and under the tree. The stockings have been hung from the fireplace mantle with care including one for the resident felines that let us share this house with them. Two of the Felines have curled up under the tree waiting for Santa Claws to deliver catnip meeces. Christmas will go on until January this year as late arriving presents will take until then to arrive. The house is all decorated with blue lights and candles are in every window also blue. A large white star is up in front of the house with strings of white lights radiating from it to the ground. None of my presents will not contain railroad stuff due to the shipping problems and if any do it will be a pleasant surprise. So to all the Train Board members and staff a Merry and Safe Christmas and hopes for the new Year to be better.
Merry Christmas to you and the Missus, and to all my TB friends. My prayers to all for a New Year that provides vaccine comfort, relaxation, and return to unrestricted gatherings of friends and family.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Power went out Thursday night for 2 1/2 hours on a calm and very cold night. Last night Thunderstorms and no power outage. Go figure, and on Christmas Eve. Hope not today on Christmas day
Best wishes to everyone from the TrainBoard family for a joyous holiday season. 2020 can get out of here fast enough and may 2021 be THE year that the world returns to normal!
