That lake effect snow will be hitting Cleveland soon enough... All the more reason to stay indoors and 3D print stuff!

You know...in a weird sick twisted kinda way...I'm good with that.. Hahaha!!!! I can hang with "Oooohhh....its cold outside...must run 3D printers indoors".

We were talking about it at work today...when, and how much.. Loved it last year.. Bought a snow blower off the marketplace on FB... everything went according to plan... buy a snow blower and it doesn't snow.. LOL!!

On another note... added more details to the soon to come transition sleeper car.. Should print like a dream compared to the bulkhead flats LOL!..

Alrighty then.. After a bout with covid-19 and now the holidays quickly approaching I have been a little bit busy with 3D printing Christmas gifts (which had to be scrapped and discarded once we learned I had the "rona"..) I am back, corona free, house disinfected and feeling human again.. back at it.

The Christmas gifts of course come first but after the new year, I will be back at it with the T scale models.

Coming up in January will be modified flat cars and bulkhead flats (so they print solid and not warped) and the first in a series of Amtrak superliners. The superliners I plan on using the T scale trucks with metal wheels from TSCALE.com. They look good, and perform well.

Everything had to come to a stop in the corona event if you want to call it that.

Thanks all and looking forward to sharing more T scale stuff shortly!

That makes two of us! Corona is no joke... Just glad to make it through that and get back to what I love doing!

Now back at the machine shop...it's a matter of people taking this corona bit seriously. It has spread even though everyones wearing masks and taking precautions in the workplace to not spread this ugly bug. People are still getting sick from it.

In the T scale world, its been a minute since I have printed any T scale items. I am excited to finish xmas gifts and get after it again.

Thanks Hemi, glad to be back!

I had a minor bout of it in Oct. Sure put a damper on railfanning that whole month!

Absolutely...It brings everything to a quick halt unless you are a lucky one and experience no symptoms. Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. All in all though, I am thankful I just had a mild case of getting sick all things considered.

Here is a sneak peek of the CAD for the first transition sleeper.. I will start a new thread for this when I finish the first prints and what not.

A end and B ends. I already have window tint film mirrored brown for the windows. Pretty excited about this one..

I hope it does. I think it will just based on it having a box shape for the resin printer. Seems to be most of the boxy shaped cars print better.. at least better than the bulkhead flatcars.

I am getting close to finishing up xmas gifts so that will be next. I hope the Amtrak's will be one of those ones that is a hit pretty much right off the rip.

I took a pretty good amount of time getting all the side details set so that printing will show great detail... I probably won't go overboard with the base of the cars as they are so low already that it just may be overkill.

I want to make one just so I can put the mirror tint in it to see what it looks like :ROFLMAO:
