From the Pendleton (Indiana)/Fall Creek Township Fire Department This picture was taken as the Department arrived this evening at the train/semi accident on State Road 67 at Angle road crossing. No one was injured! Thanks to a passing motorist for the picture
WOW, that's an amazing photo. Thankfully the only "injury" will be some charred paint on the locomotive, and the loss of the tractor.
i think some one had a video of accident on liveleak site yesterday they didnt show tractor catching fire as it was dragged out of their veiw
The truck driver got out of the cab before the impact to live to be a bonehead another day. He got the truck stuck on the tracks. There is evidently a sign that warns of the possibility of semis getting hung up there. The conductor was checked by medical personnel and is OK. Crews were trying to get the truck off the tracks at the time of the collision but the articles I read didn't say what crews. Depending on the time involved, I guess somebody could have called the railroad and informed them of the truck on the crossing? Doug
Yes, when I click on the small image I get a larger one. Wow, what an inferno. The only thing I can think of as a reason I can't see these may be the underscoring in the title. Aside from that I am at a loss.
Between this one and that Georgia wreck, they will have some busy shop forces making major repairs. Eek.
