58828 is the Next18 only part number (LokSound 5 Micro DCC). Doesn’t have any daughter board. 58818 is the multi protocol decoder
I have done some Kato F2s, E8/9s, and now a pair of PAs. The EZ-FIT diameters are .076 for the lower headlight, and .108 for the upper headlight.
Yep, I’ve put poly-Ta caps into P42, F40PH and F3s with these. Attached to the U+/GND pads just forward of the speaker pads.

Hi, Any second run for this board planned? Thanks and happy new year Envoyé de mon SM-G970F en utilisant Tapatalk
There are plenty available on eBay (updated versions-minor changes), as well as at a number of on line suppliers. TrainBoard advertiser Streamlined Backshop has them in stock.
For long-term reliability, the capacitor voltage rating should be twice the bus voltage it is holding up.
That is a good rule of thumb for Tantalum capacitors. There is more “room” for Poly-Ta caps, but I would still want to stay at no greater than 75%.
Looks as if the original post is off of eBay. If you search for WVD Kato, you can find two sellers offering them. The lower priced one, which may still be related to WVD, does mention 3 retailers who are carrying it, including TB advertiser SBS4DCC https://store.sbs4dcc.com/WVDESULokound5MicroNEM662Next18AdapterBoardforKatoF2F3F7FP.aspx
Thanks! Boards ordered and looking forward to my first sound locomotives: Set of Rio Grande F3's to pull the Cal Zephyr.
