Yup. Just looked up the company names and NATCOM/Cleaver-Brooks make burners and boilers and it looks like both hooked together as a steam generating plant.

I'm revisiting some of my old photos, reviewing, editing and uploading higher-res versions.

Here's one, Dale Jct, WY, Apr 2004, with Deuces bookending a Dash-8 widecab.

My biggest memory of Rondout was tower operator Bonnie. On hot summer days she would often be sunbathing in a little bikini.

I do but they would get me tossed off of Trainboard. I know how much everyone enjoys my interurban thread, I don't want to ruin that...

Coach yard at Barrington, IL with Chicago-bound train to the right. In the late 1970s, the yard was moved a mile or so west to make room for a new depot constructed at this spot. In the far distance, the mainline expands from two tracks to three.

This photo was taken in about 1975.

Sometimes my understanding of railfan pictures is not the norm.

These are essential to a locomotive, what are they and what am I doing to them ?

I am rebuilding/repairing them. Does any one want to guess why they needed rebuilding?

CNJ RS-3 1554 works at Flemington, NJ in August 1975. The CNJ's branch to Flemington fell into such poor shape that it was abandoned and a circuitous routing was used to handle its traffic, with cars routed via the PC and Black River & Western to this isolated piece of the CNJ. The 1554 has led a good life and remains in service on the Genesee Valley's Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad.

Restoration project? Upgrading to a more reliable electrical system?

Sort of a restoration. Aren't all repairs a restoration of some type ?
