Hi gang. While doing some storage in my modelrailroad room I discovered some stuff I previously had no idea where I did put it... A few packages containing these precious wheel wipers. That gave me the idea to put back into service my venerable MTL F-Units that had been far from track for many years... First I test ran the locomotives and good luck, they work fine, uh, like a factory new MTL F-Unit , thus sensitive to dirt, fortunately showing that their lubricant was not stuck. So I tried to go to the website indicated on content, and bad point, it doesn't work anymore. I tried to find any working link for this but all what I found (including in Trainboard) was discontinued. As my supply is limited I sure don't want to waste any of these wheel wipers. Do you guys have any working link to suggest ? Thanks for any reply, best regards, Dom
Dom, Thinking this info would be important one-day, I actually cut and saved the entire process for the Glenn Chenier's Wheel Wipers, seeing as a have my own stash of MTL F's to contend with. I have attached it here for yourself or anyone else to use. Not sure if there have been updates or more relevant versions, but maybe this will be of some some help.

I am fortunate to have 2 MTL F-7's that Glenn Chenier did. He also added LED lighting. They are the only MTL F-7's I have. NYC and PRR. They run like a charm. Jim

So I finally modified a first unit with these. Thank you guys for your help. The result is outstanding. One more question, guys. As infortunately our friend Glen passed away, does anyone here know whether these wheelwipers' license still belong to somebody (as well as tooling to build them), or if there is no hope to see them again ? I've still 6 locomotives to modify... Dom
Glen's family still holds the License and the Rights to his wheel wiper design. However All is not lost. yet! Glen's Wheel Wipers are still available. Send me a PM for more Info.
