Fine looking engines and just perfect for the Warbonnet scheme.

To me it was like the modern F7, the perfect Warbonnet. And when they added the GP60B, really made me a fan of that combination. Was so sad to see the Warbonnet Red & Silver schemes go, but all good things must come to an end, but the memories live on forever.

Seems that wide cab GP60M are rough riders, and engineers don't appreciate them. I've read here and there that their cabs are too heavy... For this reason they are now mainly used for transfer or local jobs.

    Hi Dom
That sure makes since, that they would be front end heavy. BNSF frequently runs a local near me that has the same consist of 3 "Swoosh" GP60's. I see them cruising through quite often. The sound of their horns is quite recognizable. My wife wonders how I can tell what kind of locomotive it is without seeing the train.

GP60 with some road grime, Super Fleet work horses for sure. I like the BNSF patch white lettering.
