    All,
Out of curiosity, I wonder how the BPRR =BUFFALO and Pittsburgh RR , The Rapid City and EASTERN RR etc would look if it Broke Away from the genesee and wyoming fold? What would their Paint Scheme be?

Well can you go back to their G&W predecessors and evolve those?

Right - before they were G&W properties, they were something else. Could you look at those paint schemes and evolve them in the directions you want to go?

For Buffalo and Pittsburgh I don't know about colors, but for the herald I think it would be neat to use the Buffalo Bills football teams logo and in the red stripe put the "Buffalo and Pittsburgh" name. You could use any colors you like that would go well with whatever paint scheme you decide upon and that would help make it your own. It would really look good on the side of a box car too.

RCP&E was independent, once known as the Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern. Painted blue and yellow.

In this era of "heritage paint schemes" go with a herald similar to this but take out the "Rochester"? Colors might be a question as BR&P was swallowed by the B&O before there were too many diesels out there.

Canadian Pacific bought the DM&E/IC&E. Canadian Pacific then sold off the Lines west of Tracy, MN and that is the RCP&E. Had ExDME/ICE engines
from Canadian Pacific in the deal...
