No pics that I have seen you but looks like there has been a bad passenger train derailment in Stonehaven Scotland this morning. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...in-derails-in-scotland/ar-BB17RXaz?ocid=ientp Well, this story has a pic but all you see is smoke and not the train http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...emely-serious-incident/ar-BB17RUcC?ocid=ientp
From what I've picked up from the control log it sounds like a HST (two power cars and four centre cars) has hit a landslip and gone down the embankment. Very rural location with poor road access. over 30 emergency vehicles now on site and reports of some serious injuries. Air ambulances being used. Weather overnight had been atrocious with flash flooding in the nearby town of Stonehaven Fingers crossed for all those involved Kev
Sadly, the latest news is that three people have died, including the driver and conductor. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-53751678
It is so gratifying to see how the UK media reports tragedies such as this. There is no speculating, finger pointing, unsupported opinions, or politicization. Merely true journalistic reporting of facts known to the moment of deadline. How refreshing.
