Hey, isn't this a Milwaukee Road steam generator? I think I've seen one of these behind Little Joes on passenger trains!
Yep! Finding prototype pics for this thing has been a nightmare - plenty of pics of the brass HO model but that's of one particular car (unit 72) and I believe there were at least four of them, each slightly different than the other. They must have had use beyond the Joe's passenger service life (ended in '56) as I've found pics of them in the Armour Yellow scheme. It's been an interesting project. Mike
