Good morning from hot and muggy Northeast Ohio!

Managed to finish some stuff this last week.

Athearn Chemical Tank Car kit, painted with Scalecoat II White and Black paints, and lettered with Oddballs Decals. Spencer Chemicals was purchased by Gulf Oil in the 50's for their patents on Nitrogen Fertilizer and Anhydrous Amonia, this car is used in the transport of Nitrogen Fertilizer from the chemical plant to farm [IMG]

IMRC 40' PS1 boxcar kit, new A-Line Sill steps, painted with Scalecoat II Black Paint and lettered with Herald King Decals. The N&W purchased 2900 of these cars in the 1953-56, this is a car from the 1953 lot with Superior Doors, I am showing this car after its 1972 repainting and removal of the roofwalk, but having the full height ladder at the brake wheel end, along with a roof grab.

Stewart U25B Kit, added drop steps, Utah Pacific Lift Rings and A-line sun shades. Painted with Scalecoat II Wabash Blue and Silver Paints and lettered with Microscale Decals from a couple of sets. The Wabash ordered 15 U25B's in 1962 as replacements for the 15 year old F7's, these went to the N&W after the 1964 merger.

    Thanks for looking!

I finished building the Frisco Ft Smith Depot Tuesday and it's open for business on the Boston Mountains Sub Division.

I'm going to add people and baggage carts to the platform after the base is set in it's permanent location.

That U-boat sure is pretty! You have me wondering how many Wabash modelers there are? I don't often see such efforts in print or on the 'Net.

I got home from work this afternoon and pushed down on the cab and it clicked into place, don't know why it did not work last night.

BoxcabE50, I think that there are a lot of them, Broadway Limited has brought in twice the Wabash Bluebird cars, and you cannot ever find them if you did not pre-order them, I managed to get a set on the second run.

Ahhhhhhh.....Thank you. Now I can relax. [IMG]

My usual mishap it to post a photo, come back later and notice one of the wheels is off the rails or something like that. I then have to go back and take a new photo and edit the post to substitute the corrected one.
