Welcome back everyone. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Let's get started.

    Saturday: Just work.

Sunday: I was able to escape for a little bit in the morning and play with the layout while enjoying my morning tea. I also started designing a new track plan as I'm still not 100% happy with the current one. I wish I could find a prototype. After that, it was a full day in our garden, mainly pulling weeds, planting rows of seeds and installing an irrigation system.

So how about you? What did you accomplish this past weekend? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Friday the 19th to start the process all over again. Until then, continue to stay healthy, safe and as as always...

    High Greens!

Let's see...I finished a scratch built building, started a kitbash of a Bachmann 2-8-0, waiting for a correct VO-1000 to be delivered, and a caboose kit too...1 out of 4 completed.

Well. I got the main 2 things I wanted to get done. I spent some good time, about 2, 2 1/2 hours overall fixing up the boxcar that "splattered" to floor about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Repaired the floor, the crack in the roof, the busted brake staff, the truck and wheels that popped off, the roof corner grab, and repaired/weathered the paint that flake off due to the fall. Here she is out of Albemarle Shops late yesterday.

The other thing I did was completely trash my workshop after cleaning it up the previous weekend. Knew it wouldn't last long!

What a weekend. I wasn’t able to finish the laser kit Thursday as planned so I did it on Saturday. Finished the hill for the module and started to prep the module for painting. I still need to get one building finished as well as get the last two scratch builds started. The gas station is gonna take longer than I thought. I might rip a door off and add an interior. Waiting for details parts that I ordered to show up. I also set up the studio for the live clinic I will be giving this coking Saturday. [IMG]

    Good Monday morning to ya.
Another week of cooking and modeling. The cooking was all of my usual's that I've shared before and the modeling is shown below albeit a poor photo. Cars are custom painted and decaled. Not clear coated yet.

This is what the last two cars (Atlas Difco dump cars) will be.

I had a frustrating weekend with the Atheran pickle tank cars. One car is ready for a shot of Dullcoat before I begin weathering it. The other car, everytime I thin it is ready something happens. First it was the trucks. I took some out of another kit and weathered them. Then it was the coupler pockets falling apart. I can't do much about them until I can get to a hobby shop. I thought okay I can still weather the car. No I can't the because the body falls off the base. While trying to fix that the sides fall off the car body. So I finally get everything back together but it is too late to do anything more. I hope to sel it before I begin the weathering.

On the good side, I got some decals in the mail. They are for Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines passenger cars. I also got an unlettered P-54 combine and a PRR P-54 coach in the mail. Now I just have to apply decals. Deciding if I want to remove the lettering on the PRR coach and make it PRSL. I am waiting on some NYO&W decals for diesels and cabooses. I am going to see if I can use them to make a NYO&W steam locomotive. I have a couple unlettered ones on order. I am also thinking about how I can make a PRSL steam locomotive.

Wow! Great pics! Some of you sound like me. At some point earlier than now, likely Friday, I was testing the 0-6-0 on the new turnout setup. As it happened, I did not quite follow my own guide lines for turnout operation. As I was moving the shifter back I split the switch...and...tore out...the drawbar...from the locomotive! So this weekend was dedicated to the repair. I also was able to quietly fabricate some sections of track using the new marking guide. So things are moving back to normal. Have a good safe and healthy week. :)

Those look fantastic, very nice job. Seems a shame to weather them lol.
