Completely lost power to 1 of my Aristo Craft GP40's.
After some reading, I came across the mention of Polyfuses.
Now, I'm wondering if I didn't somehow manage to mess up
a few in my locomotive! But, no trace of smoke, no odors, and
    nothing that shows burning.

Anyway, wondering if anyone might now the rating for the poly fuses in the Aristo GP40's?
If I can find a proper replacement, I'll order them and replace them! All relatively easy to access.
Have 6 total, on small PCB, where power is distributed to rest of locomotive!
Other unit, after a decoder reset, seems to work just fine!

FWIW: Track power, using an updated Bridgeworks MAG 15 power supply.
    20VDC
    12VDC
    12 VAC

    Any information is much appreciated.
    Thanks.

If it's really a polyfuse, then it resets by itself one it cools down, no replacement needed..

Usually, they did, eventually. This time, something failed.
Locomotive has absolutely NO power to it whatsoever!
That’s why I’m thinking the fuses failed maybe. Suppose
I could jumper one, and see what happens.

Did a bit of tracing tonight. Now trucks or power pick up.
Not the power plug the goes to switchboard(lights, smoke, motors, track/battery).
Think it’s either the switchboard, or the QSI card. With QSI are removed, I get lights.
When I plug in the QSI card, I get a short. Contacted QSI, but have yet to hear from them.
Not sure if current shutdown/lockdown has a part.
Stumped as to what to do now!

Starting to think I have a burned out diode, in the bridge rectifier.
Need to put a meter across them, to see if that's the situation.
Might be a little easier to fix, than expected! Once I find value for diodes.

a diode -should- have the number marked right on it, ie:1N4003 ... most do ...

Mine do not, unless number is on bottom, where it is not visible.
And also possible, as you say, they probably don't have a number.
They are very short, look to be SMT style. Can post a photo of the
    spot, if it might help.
Unless someone has an unused board in their stash, that is not needed.
Have also thought of pulling motors and electronics for now,m and converting
into an unpowered unit for the foreseeable future.

    a photo -might- help ...
if it matters, I don't have ANY G scale stuff, nada

I’ll see what I can do later. After I get home
    from dialysis for the day!

Most poly fuses increase in resistance cumulatively every time they trip & reset. So if it has tripped multiple times, it may no longer be able to reset with low enough resistance for the application, and must be replaced.
