Hello All, I need assistance with a best practice to trim Rokuhan track to be able to connect two turnouts back to back. The ideal situation is to use the trimmed track piece that comes with the turnout to separate them, but I do not have room to extend track.
Please see photo below, I need to trim the double crossover (marked in yellow) to look like the trimmed piece marked in red. Guidance will be appreciated before I get creative and mess up the turnout. Huge thanks in advance.

You could make a jig and cut it with a razor saw. It might be hard to get a straight cut on that ballast embankment without a miter box or jig. How thick is it? I don’t have a good reference for the size of z scale track, but could you take a straight-edge and score it with an exacto a few times and then snap it off?

I was able to do it with the exacto knife:

I have noticed that Rokuhan track is pretty easy to carve with an Xacto knife, it is not brittle or tough, its pretty easy. Just go slow and whittle away. Nice job!
