I had the same problem till a week ago and got on the site has a new but different look but has the same older stuff there with all the photo's but like stony said a work in progress I could still use my old ID and password to get on!
This morning I read in Z Track Magazine that Z Central Station was operating and decided to try to get on again. At first I was unsuccessful so I again tried the link here to contact stonysmith and he sent me a new password which worked! I think it will be fun to wander the site and see what I find, never too much Z.
No today is a day to try again! Just click on Stonys address and ask for a password, I still used my old handle and email address. That site looks different. They changed it for sure.
Z central Station is and has been up and running their was 8 or 9 people on chat this afternoon. their is always someone in chat around 1 pm on Sundays and 9pm on Wednesdays eastern time zone if your having trouble logging on email john K , or Stony JohnK: soccrdad525@yahoo.com Stony: stonysmith@stonysmith.com
I've not been able to log (even though they have said I'm good). I remember about it once or twice a year, like when I need to post a notice or something, for the ones that either don't know about Trainboard, AZL Forum or else. Still, can't log in on any of now 4 PC's (and iPad and iMac). Even tried to create an new account, new e-mail, different browser, reset my password, etc. Nope. I'm not into chat. I don't like texting [well, OK, there are times ] Push the green button and call me or, I'll call you (cause I know your texting, you're not talking on the phone .. . OH, now you are I'm not into chat 'once a week', be it 12p or whatever time. Need content like Trainboard, AZL and Railwire forums.
I just tried again after getting a new password from John. No luck. I got a message saying my account has not been approved.
Well I finally got on Z Central! I email John and he kept at it until I was able to get on the site and use it as well. Thanks John!
that "not approved" was always my problem. I'll ping again (when I get time) and get it working. Can't say I'll use it much but always worth a peak and, when I make announcements about shows, especially next year's NMRA National Train Show (a.k.a. NTS) here in Santa Clara California. Also, the California State Rail Road Musuem has the NMRA Model Railroading exhibit (which will have LOT's of Z scale in it) will be opening again in a few months. I'll be posting pix and links.
