I'm building some n scale deck plate girder bridges (with the steel siding facing down) on a shallow radius and at the center of the radius, the track will be coming off the support beams it should lay on by 1/8 to 1/4". Anyway, I was curious to what others did to compensate for that. Hope this makes sense. Appreciate any help and pics would be cool. Many thanks
I'm glad you decided on a solution for your bridge. For what it's worth, I kitbashed four Walther's through plate-girder bridge kits into a curved bridge on my N-scale layout. - Jeff Here is one end of the bridge, showing how the curved track fits. The 0.125-inch music wire gives the long bridge some structural integrity. Here is low-level view of the whole bridge showing the three double I-beam structures that support it.
