Here is another attempt to upload a .pdf or .jpg for your use. This looks better. My printer doesn't offer .dxf files.
    R009 220mm
    R001 110mm
    R024 55mm
    R004 R220mm 45 degree
    R012 R490mm 13 degree
    That's all I have.

Thanks for the pix. .jpg files are tough to use as they do not hold any dimensional fidelity. I could measure and do ratios but that sets up errors. The drawing have to be accurate to within a half mm, maybe less. Put the track on a flatbed scanner (bottom of track touching the glass) and save the file as a .pdf.

Completed so far is 110mm and 220mm straight and 195mm 45deg curve. The other three I would like to have.

Cast enough line and one will catch something.

Both Jeff and Rokuhan sent "official" drawing of curved and straight track. I have redrawn the common pieces omitting the needless detail. There are .pdf and .dxf versions.

Next question, any suggestions on where to put them so folks have easy access?

I sent the files to Josh Murrah for wiki posting.

    What is sticky?

Special threads that stay at the top of the threads column. When you navigate to Z scale threads list you see there are three Sticky threads at the top then Normal threads below. So they Stick to the top. You wouldn't want this whole TTZ thread as a sticky it is too rambling, but a Sticky thread devoted to TTZ track planning information and data might be nice. A moderator would have to do that.

I went ahead and made this thread a stick one, so it will be easy to find at the top of the Z forum.

I just went there and looked, and all the Z modules are on the TTZ page http://ttrak.wikidot.com/t-trak-z

Also, there are HO modules on the Modules by Club page. I think it's just a matter of joining Wikidot, then joining the T Trak Wiki, and you can then contribute to the wiki.

TTZ is too new to have everything all ironed out, and because of it, there are at least 6 known and different standards. The Portland guys have theirs, the Florida guys got theirs, Thom Welsch in the midwest has his standards, I have the Boise dowel pin and magnet aligned Atlas track standards with Florida guys and Portland guys transition modules, Larry Donsbach in Texas had some small modules that I think were TTZ, and then there are the Chicago Gary with 30 degree corners standards.

Only the Florida guys have put their stuff on the Wiki, so since they are the only contributors, their standard is the defacto.

I did not realize we were so Balkanized. I hope we have not crossed the Rubicon and are hopeless fragmented.

My 30 deg corners are total compatible with the Florida group standards. It is a transportation issues with me. Conventional corners are too bulky for me to handle on public transit.

I will join the wiki and see if I can understand the active groups inner working.

Here are .pdf drawings of popular Rokuhan track pieces.

The first was supplied by Rokuhan and has lots of detail.

The next two were prepared by me using the Rokuhan information. I eliminate some detail and added a dashed line 1 mm from the ends to aid placement at the end of a module.

I also have .dxf versions of my work for those that want to import it their own CAD drawings. Trainboard import options do not include .dxf. Contact me in a conversation. That will forward a regular e-mail and get my attention quickly. I can also export to .svg.

If you find errors or have other comments let me know.

Gary, FYI and everyone else the R030's (25mm) do not have any holes.

So Gary pointed out that there is no way to navigate to all the Z Stuff on the TTZ wiki. We need to get a couple guys who have joined to use the Contact Page on the T-Trak Wiki home page and ask the site moderators to add the Z Page links to their home page so we can contribute. If they get enough requests, they may be prone to act quiicker.

    Thanks guys.

PS: I tried to join several times, yet each and every time, it comes up with an error saying that name is already registered. Each time i used different variants of my name, but it's a no go.

I asked for help and got this. It works. Just enlarge the table on the standards tab.

    Hello,

The z module specifications are available on the T-TRAK Wiki by selecting the Standards tab. The specs are captured in the table along with all of the other scales. In addition, if you scroll down to the line just below the table you have a link to the more-details z scale specifications document.

The wiki is editable by users, so you can log in and make changes if you like, but at this point the z scale modules specifications appear to be available in the same way as the specifications for other scales.

I was about to buy a module kit or two when I remembered this thread, which standards are Thom Welsch's here in the Midwest, are they compatible with Gary's 30 degree corners, and are they available in kit form? I still have no one else in Wisconsin to actually worry about, but 'just in case' I might as well try and stick with whatever is closest to me. The only kits I've found so far are 270mm and 295mm depths, so I'm not sure which ones I should get, all things considered.

    Hi Jake,
    Welcome to Trainboard.
I had all of my standards on a Yahoo group. Kits are not available as it's just a piece of 2 inch rigid foam cut to size with 1/4-20 T-nuts on the bottom corners with 1/4-20 carriage bolts as leveling legs. I will need to look at Gary's module info to determine if they're compatible.
I'm at work now without access to the files. I'll be happy to send you the info for my modules when I get home if you're interested.
    Thom Welsch
