So as a kid we would visit family up in Santa Maria every few months and would drive up the 101. Being into trains I would always be on the lookout for trains and because of this, I have always been interested in this particular route. Now I am curious if anyone has any info for the UP coast line between LA and SLO such as the speed limits along the various sections and siding locations? Also curious if they still use any searchlight signals along the route or if they have all been replaced with the newer types. Thanks
