Hi, All. Hope everyone is doing OK. This mini-diorama (2.5"x6") is coming along and has had new life breathed into with the release of the MTL tie crane and gondolas set. The crane is NS and is static. I added the lights from a picture I saw of such. The sheds are MBZ and RSL kits. The ties are hand made and stacked one-by-one. I use a type of paper called "letramax". It is solid black and can be split apart. I cut strips as thin as I can and then use the chopper to make ties. They then go into a film canister with some chalks of choice and presto, distinctive looking railroad ties. When completed this mini-diorama will be 6"x12". I am waiting to get a HED tie crane to round out the scene. Enjoy. Jim 20200324_113404.jpg

The lighting, the sacks of cement, the pallets, debris and cable spool. I love junk!
