Welcome back everyone. I hope you all survived the weekend.

No real excitement for me other then selling a young man a beautiful black 2019 Mustang GT. He was excited and so was I. Lucky guy has a great car for his daily driver. Sunday, I spent the bulk of my day repairing an ink jet printer and cleaning out items. No real work on my CTC project as the weather was not warm enough for me to apply the polyethylene. The Lincoln Square show that was scheduled for next weekend has been cancelled due to the health risks in our area, so March and April will be real quiet.

How about you? Did you get any modeling done? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Friday the 20th to start the process all over again. Until then, stay safe and healthy and as always...

    High Greens!

Since we had our Granddaughter -- not much in the way of MRRing.

Saturday: Reapplied Mr Surfacer 1200 to the E8's (I removed the dynamic break fans). The paint stripper removed it --- bummer. I reassembled a Kato GS-4 - to see what was needed for a complete locomotive. - I am going to deskirt her. LOL.

Sunday: Added more Mr Surfacer to the E8's. Worked a couple of minutes on another (to be named) project.
Whilst the wife was taking our Granddaughter home, - I cleaned the main line on my layout and I ran trains for a bit. Took some new photos.

Hope Y'all had a great weekend,
    Wolf

I had a good first day at work Saturday. I've got a lot to learn as bicycles have changed a bunch since I was in the business last. I'm working four days a week and it feels strange after not working for the last 3 1/2 years. Having a pay check should cure the feelings.
Sunday I was going to try and learn how to spray True-Color and realized I didn't have primer so no painting was done. Maybe on Tuesday. As for as CorelDraw I really didn't feel like messing with it. A little voice in my head kept bugging me though and I relented. Good thing I did because I feel like I made some good progress. It needs some touching up.

Got a fair amount done over the weekend including more ground cover, some clear ends on the creek bed in prep for water, worked on the scenic divider, several items on the work bench, and finished up a bottle of glue. Lots of pics on my n scale JPT sub thread. Hope everyone has a safe Covid-19 free week.

I finished weathering several ACF covered hoppers. I am not happy with many of them and I am going back to try to fix them. I began working on a couple of cabooses.

I added the enclosed detail parts to my newest locomotive acquisition. A Stewart F3A (powered) and F3B (unpowered) in NYO&W scheme. I have been trying to get these for years and finally scored them off Ebay. I test ran them and worked flawlwssly.

Very good weekend. I picked up where I left off a few months ago on two structures. I finished one and got a little done on the other. Found I needed
To order more stuff. I also drew up plans for another building I need to build. So after I drew up the plans and checked two other buildings I put another order into Tichy.

The control tower is now finished!

All good posts above. Saturday at 10 pm, The railroad rerouted the main line traffic through the main siding. Simultaneously, railway workers began loading a boxcar and flatcar located at the freight house. A boxcar loaded by various shippers was also waiting in the mix. The purpose of this activity was to move all business operations, dispatching, passenger ticketing, baggage and express parcel operations into the new passenger depot. To say using the relatively small freight house for all this was burdensome would be an understatement. Workers are on hand in force until the job is finished. The move should be complete by first light. As an additional note, the depot platform porch will be completed while the depot is open. This will be done in sections so as not to hamper passenger access. An atmosphere of celebration hangs over the entire railyard. I am sure a party will follow. ;)

Happy Monday all. Spent a significant amount time building creating some tunnel liners for two automobile tunnels. Got the road I finished last weekend weathered and glued down. Went to the brick and mortar train store and got some goodies. About the biggest thing I accomplished this weekend was making a dang mess of my work shop. Cutting stuff, air-brushing miscellaneous thissa and thatta. My spray booth got a work out.

Speaking air brushing, I used some Tamiya Paint this weekend. First time doing so. Pretty good paint. Thinned it out 2 parts paint to 1 part thinning agent. Ran it about 20 pounds (with throttle down) through a Badger 175 Crescendo. Stuff works well.

Have a good week all and stay healthy!

Installed sound decoders in two Atlas N scale Missouri Pacific GP15's.

Not the easiest "drop-in" decoders that I have ever installed. I wound up soldering wires between the motor tabs and the pads on the decoders in order to get reliable power to the motors. Then they ran fine.
