Well would you look at that? It's Friday the 13th again. It's also time to talk about trains and the coming weekend.

I don't have Saturday's off anymore so I'll just go into my "mini weekend." The weather is going to be cooler then what we have been used to and I have a bunch of brush that needs to get burned. We have been in a cycle of rain, snow, wind, cold and repeat. Hopefully this weekend I can get the stacks of brush burned as I will be mowing the lawn soon. Any time left over will have me focus on the CTC panel project.

So how about you? What do you have planned? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 16th to see how we did. Until then, wash your hands, keep your hands away from your face, in fact just stay home and work on trains.

    High Greens!

Now that yesterday’s Rollercoaster of a day has ended I can now plan for the weekend. I was supposed to help with the pizza box clinic Saturday but that has been canceled along with everything else in the world yesterday. If you’re wondering what a pizza box layout is look in the Walthers catalog pages 10-11. Our NMRA division started this trend.

So this weekend I will spend modeling. Lots to do. I have a module to finish, structures to prep and SOQ’s to write.

My Friday the 13th to do list…. find a black cat, walk under a ladder, and break a mirror! Then our Boy Scout troop starts pine straw delivery this evening with the bulk of it to be done tomorrow. With my knee, I'm not going to be much help this year so I will just be dropping off and picking up my son each day. That should leave some free time to get down to the layout and pick up on the scenery work from last weekend. If it's warm enough and dry enough, I may even try to get the first coat of paint on the fascia.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!!

Well -- we have our Granddaughter this weekend -- so, I don't think I will get much done -- MRR wise.

    Report on Monday

    Y'all have a great weekend!!

At least assembling my new T-Trak (for HOn30) module base, I hope... Actually I would like to also finish a critter painting project. But, will the best laid of plans come to fruition?

My trip to California and Magic Mountain got canceled, and with the kids on spring break, I think that I am going to ask my 14 year old daughter to teach me how to paint So-Cal rolling hills...

So far, the roofs are on the building proper. Yay! This will allow the main railroad headquarter operations to be moved from temporary quarters in the freight house to their new home. Now passenger traffic will have more convenience and better service as well. Also, express shipping of parcels and small freight will be better accommodated. Next, two chimneys will be installed. After that, the porch awning will be erected. High greens and good health to all. :D

Well I had great laid plans for Saturday to learn how to use True-Color paint. Wouldn't you know I got my job offer today after not working for 3 1/2 years. So I'm dancing in the streets instead! The job is in my other passion, bicycles. Yah who.!!! I start tomorrow. I'll have Sunday off though so that will be MRing day. After I get frustrated with learning the nuances of True-Color I'll sit down with CorelDraw and loose what little hair I have left:rolleyes:.

    Good Days to ya.

I plan on doing some more weathering of some ACF covered hoppers. Since Home Depot wasn't closed I picked up some supplies to begin repairing the layout. Our county is one of four in Pennsylvania under a Social Distancing Measure which means no non-essential travel; malls, gyms, schools, state offices closed. We had to go to the pharmacy and Home Depot was on the way so we stopped. The only word I can use to describe things is surreal.
