Hi folks. I'm in the middle of a major project with the Overland Western Maryland Shay brass steamer. Been perfecting these for years, and most recently adding sound. The N Scale Enthusiast magazine has contacted me about possibly writing an article for them about this interesting loco (Overland's first in N scale). However.... I could use some help to do it justice. I own the Shays that were modded and sold by Keith Wiseman. What I don't have is the original run Shay as OMI released it (with the giant gear in the rear truck under the cab). That would be the 1st version. I also don't have a stock Shay from OMI after the recall. That would be the 2nd version. My two Shays would be 3rd versions.
