Must be that new stack tax act on tax on tax on top of that other tax. Somebody drain the swamp taxes. I feel sorry for kids that want to get started in this hobby.

How did he end up sending only $4.50? Is he one of those who deducts a "re-stocking" fee or some such sad excuse?

Probably the tax that eBay collects. And if there's a refund, you get one from the seller (the item) and one from eBay (the tax). Just my guess.

Though it is not N-SCALE, a picture's worth many words.

    One zero too many.

I saw a lot of what was advertised as Walthers Superliner passenger cars. They were clearly Concor.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/TA500-Walt...191233?hash=item1ce52fad01:g:pJgAAOSw9QVeXUg0

I messaged the seller that he had the wrong manufacturer and suggested there was risk of buyers asking for money back because item was not as advertised. *Crickets*

It's annoying when sellers label wrong brand but buyers are protected from what I understand.

The humor aspect of this listing is the seller goes by the name Team Awesome! Sad but true. They are so "awesome" they can't get the brand right.

The Concor superliners advertised as Walthers are still up. No change in being labled as Walthers. To me it is down right deceptive of a lister to, even after being notified of the error in brand, continue to falsely advertise. If my understanding of Ebays buyer protection (item not as advertised) then the buyer can get their money back.

That said, the current bid of $60 for six Concor cars is an ok deal - Concor are inferior and have incorrect trucks - so shouldn't IMO cost more than maybe $15 each - there is the cost of replacing the trucks of the modeler cars about appearance.

Looks like that last car on the right has had some adventures...a big chunk of the roof broken off and repaired.

I would bet $10.00 that this is Either TYCO, ROCO, IMPORTED by AHM or ATLAS from the 1980's ! However, Definitely Not AURORA.Anyone else here thinking along the lines I am ?

If one looks closely there’s a slot for a BACHMANN GP40 Chassis there for it is a BACHMANN GP40 Shell.

What do we know about the players in the Brass Shell drama: seller has over 9000 transactions with 100% rating, winning bidder has 866 transactions, losing bidder has over 4000 transactions and the bidder who got away (bid retracted Feb 25) has 1630 transactions. Did the winner get a bras shell that is ready for a Bachmann mechanism? Is the winner a "Trainboarder" and willing to tell us about what he/she received? Stay tuned for the next episode of the "Phantom Shell".
