    From the description:

n scale trains. 4 engines around 20 cars

    There are some P Scale

Cars sell for more then Ten dollars each the engines cost me $50.00 - 149.00 twenty years ago, so I figure $50.00 per engine—-/ that is how I got this price $400.00

    Tray comes with them n/c

Another lot of junk trains. I must just not know what I'm doing since I don't even know what P scale is.

    100% positive feedback does this?!?!?!

I ordered 2 items from a seller with "100% positive feedback", mainly because I needed one item and found one other (among his somewhat high priced listings) that I would also buy since there was "combined shipping." So, this seller sends me that other item, but the wrong item for what I really was ordering for. When contacted, he simply said that he did have the right item, and would send it to me when I returned the wrong one. I pointed out that his listing says "buyer pays for returns" and I did not think that was right in this case, because it was his error, not mine. He said I should use the eBay return to get a free label. He suggested that I use "defective" as the reason for the return, but, when I asked why, he said the "wrong item" would do the same thing. So, I packaged (better than he did) and returned the item. Instead of sending me the correct item, he refunded that one item cost, but not the tax on it. When I asked him why he did not just send me the correct item, as he said he would do, he claimed "once a return is started by a seller e-bay does not allow for exchange. buyer must repurchase the item. not my rules, e-bay's". So, I looked at his item listing and found that he had raised the price by 10%. I ordered anyway, but sent him a message saying that he should refund me the difference between what the new order cost and what he refunded me for the returned item. (That amounted to $4.23 for the price increase, the second tax payment, and the second shipping, which is what his error cost.) He just cancelled the order and lied about the reason, saying that I was the one who requested cancellation.

So, how do you block a seller when you do eBay searches? I see how to do it one search at a time with "advanced search", but I am hoping there is a way to just exclude him from all of my searches in the future with one entry.

"P" scale is new one for me! I am not seeing anywhere near 100 dollars worth here, not even close to that number, let alone $360 bucks.

I asked the seller of us was absolutely positive that he had a brass shell and that it would be a shame if someone received a gold painted plastic shell in place of brass.
    This was his reply:

It wouldn't be as heavy as it is if it was plastic. Plus you can see how the brass has turned.....

He may have an unhappy customer.

Looks like one of the brass shells made by lost wax casting original Bachmann oversized GP40 bodies. Not worth much except as a historical artifact.

Well, there is always the eBay guarantee. And negative feedback.

However, it does look like a GEM Models GP 40 brass shell http://spookshow.net/loco/gembrass.html . Hopefully the two bidders looked at Spookshow .net and realize that this is just a brass casting of a Bachmann plastic shell. Mark's review of it was particularly critical of the noisy Bachmann drive, which this auction did not include. Maybe, mounted on another mechanism, this heavier shell will result in a greater load pulling capacity than a plastic shelled model. Or, maybe the metal shell will be an ops nightmare, always causing shorts when the wheels touch the shell for whatever reasons.

I know if I paid $31 for a supposed high quality brass shell and I got a cheap knock off of a poor quality Bachmann shell from the 70's...............well, upset wouldn't begin to describe how I felt!

I've bought nice Hallmark GP40's for about 125.00 in the past, running mechanism and all!
    Way better detailed.
Still can't believe the Gem Models is a real thing!:cautious:

I can't tell, is it custom painted and decaled or pad printed?

Besides the possibility of split gears the paint job which will need to be stripped looks like it was done by my 2 year old Great Grandson.

I recently bought an N Atlas bridge and the box was opened and missing major pieces. I paid $4.87 and 4.95 for shipping. I sent it back and recieved a total refund for $4.50 but I'll have to be that bad evil buyer guy to get a full refund on this one. LOL LOL LOL
