i am operating a first run unit on DC with the small handheld remote. The manual says volume can be adjusted in analog mode, but the directions are sketchy. Better yet, can the speaker be removed from the tender to totally eliminate the sound? It is a great running loco, just can’t tolerate the sound after awhile
Maybe just cut or unsolder one wire to the speaker. Leave the speaker in for what little weight it adds.
just cut the red wire at speaker/ but leave enough to reconnect later . the sound is to tinney for me had to cut also
