LOGGING IN PROBLEMS

    Is anyone else having problems logging in? I've got TB book marked for years. On Friday, it said I don't have permission to access & a 403 FORBIDDEN Code. This morning, I manually typed in TB & got on with no problem.

    Every once in awhile I get that too, I'll just try it again in a few minutes and it's there again.

    Haven't seen any issues, but as Kurt says, sometimes it is a momentary glitch

    There are very infrequent times when Charlie or John will take down the system, very briefly, for some maintenance or upgrade.

    Now and then I have issues getting on via my laptop and notepad. So I check via my phone and if that works, then I know it is not at my end.

    But where? Could be ISP. Could be somewhere along the communications networks the 'Net uses. It is not a perfect world out there. Users make errors, or their equipment fails. Things break or get broken. A back hoe hits a buried cable, an incident takes down some link. Unfortunately, there is nothing TB can do about it. :(

    Yep was getting same message for two days. Finely typed in search for Train Board. clicked on link went to site , bookmarked it again and deleted old bookmark. Working great now.

    I've gotten this issue often since I got Windows 10 forced on me. Not only this board but others as well. Most sites I was linked to just got deleted and MicroSoft refuses to let me reconnect. At first I thought it was my 12 year old computer, but then it melted down and the new computer still won't load the programs I used to use. Perhaps it's time for a Mac.

    Help me understand how Win 10 and MicroSoft is not letting you connect. I have used Win10 since it first was released with never a problem and I normally use Google Chrome with no problems and can and have used MicrSoft's Edge with no problems.

    If actually "old" your programs may not be compatible. You might need newer versions tailored to W10.

    After a few glitches with the new TRAIN BOARD site, I haven't had any issues as of late. And a Thank You to those who happen to be Admin. for TRAINBOARD! And working through the glitches I have had the past. Again, Thank You Trainboard Admin! I'll leave you with the quote that my best friend sent me.
