Good Evening all, Hunting for a cheap unit to install in a cheap Locomotive. Allowing me to test my Dcc++ setup as I build since I will be using non standard parts from my parts bin. Looking to test separate motor control and current monitor possibly allowing higher amperage while still retaining current sense. I came across a Ane Model LC201 but when searching the for post came up lite. Thoughts? Cheers Joe
Have not seen the ANE Model LC201. The Slow boat from china sights can get you wired decoders by Laisdcc for about 13 bucks US. I have used quite a few and have been happy. None are sound but you can get basic motor and light control and 4 function also. Prices don't very much. Some are hard wire some have the 8 pin plug. I am adding decoders to older Atlas and Kato units that are not DCC ready. These are N scale so I wind up hard wiring all of my stuff.
Yeah i found it on ebay for $25 CDN all in, from Taiwan. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/ANE-MODEL-m...347648?hash=item288bcfde00:g:RI8AAOSwXRhcNY-S I will take a look for the ones you mentioned, thanks! Joe
