It's amazing how many of us wind up doing multiple scales. I started in HO. Went to N. Then picked up some Z. I now work in all 3 scales. I can say I have Finished 2 Z scale Layouts. BTW. I love your work. Beautiful work on all your stuff. My weathering is still a work in progress.

We've added a pair of M26 boxcars to the freight car roster, along with a Tichy war emergency mill gondola kit which will be decorated for NYC. I think the M26s paint schemes are too new for my date of 1948-1950, however. I have some decals and some Humbrol 100 (a very nice B&O boxcar color!) but the decals i have only have one road number, which isnt one I want, and only one built date; one of these is an earlier car with a vertical brake staff, and one is later with an Ajax brake. Are there decal sets of just numbers or build dates?

These were by far the most common boxcar on the B&O (Like, more than half the Boxcar roster in 1948 was M26s) and every steam era layout needs a couple!

Yep. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a data only set as well as number and alphabet sets.

I've removed the paint from the sides of the M26b. I left the data, as I will mask over this when I respray; as this was repainted all the time, it should look quite at home. Hopefully I can get the coat of Humbrol 100 down tomorrow and get this one done ,save for the incoming etched stirrup steps - these plastic ones break if you breathe on them! Note that I already replaced the brake staff.

When it comes to paintschemes/lettering the attached should help.

    Keep up the good work!
