Welcome back everyone. I hope you all are ready for the weekend. Let's Get started. Saturday: Busy day at the dealership! Depending on how I'm feeling, more work on the control panel. Sunday: Was planning on going to see Angela's dad but I came down with a bad head cold on Tuesday, with Thursday being the worst. Fortunately, Thursday's are my day off so I camped out on the sofa. If I feel like this Sunday, I'll stay home. So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We'll re-assemble on Monday the 25th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always... High Greens!
I'll continue with my F3 project. It's just about complete. I have the replacement unit for 8038 -- so, I'll work on that. And - clear coat the other 3 Where I left off: Y'all have a great weekend!! Wolf
Got the covered hopper done. Not entirely pleased with result. I am too much a perfectionist. Covered hopper looks like someone needs driving school. Just after completion, I was able to configure a better unitized coupler, retainer combo. This should help my poor little covered hopper.
My last two under track uncoupling magnets are due in this afternoon or tomorrow so hoping to get those put in and then do more ballast and scenery work this weekend. If I'm feeling up to it, may try to get on the floor and do a little wiring as well. Have several lights to get connected to the aux bus wires and then get the power to the last few sidings I installed. Will be really happy if I can come out of the weekend with the uncoupling magnets and track feeder projects completed and checked off the list.
Making good progress on my train table construction drawings, with only one more drawing remaining to illustrate how to solidly connect the two tables. Housepainters finally coming tomorrow. House is in bad need of paint; should have done it last year.
Will do a few more container cutouts and probably try a larger building. I might put up the first 'board' of the table framework.
