I thought the "humor" was in the invitation to "zoom in" to see "details" in a photo that was already too blurred to see details without any zooming.

Guys. This is being sold buy my cuz. Listed originally-$5. What in the world is going on????? Con-cor F-3' were made at least 30 years ago, poor runners and out of scale....and these are 'JUST THE SHELLS'. WHAT do they think there're bidding on. The listing is clear. Were they made of some kind of 'VALUABLE' mystery plastic??????

These ConCor unpowered units must have been from a very good 'vintage' in the eyes of the beholders.

The prices that you do or do not get from FeePay will never cease to amaze me.

The original listing seems reasonable: four items at five dollars apiece for a total of twenty dollars. When in doubt, charge five dollars, correctamundo? The description, while "bare bones", is adequate and honest. Those guys bid up the lot, for whatever their reason(s). The seller is totally blameless, here.

I have listed items on FeePay where I have stated in BOLDFACE CAPSLOCK with the underscore "THIS ITEM IS JUNK". I repeated the warning at least three times in the listing, although not always in BOLDFACE CAPSLOCK with underscore. One of the statements was always that way, but usually not all three (or more). I also did state that the item was being sold "as-is" several times in the listing. I, too, followed the "when in doubt charge five dollars" rule. I have seen those items get bid up over fifty dollars. What truly amazed me was that you could get the same item in acceptable or operating condition for LESS, even on FeePay, NScaleYardSale or somewhere else.

Believe it or not, I even had one customer bid up such a listing, pay for it, receive it, then complain that it was junque and demand a refund. I, of course, replied that he had been warned three times that it was JUNK and that I was selling it "as-is" and no returns/refunds. FeePay actually backed me on it, when he complained to them.

Conversely, I have listed items that actually were "rare", "hard-to-find" or were very nice and could not get even opening bid for them.

In this case, the humour is the result of the customers, not the sellers; something different. .............good post.....................
