I have a .mov file on my computer of N&W 611 that I'd Like to share. How do I do that? Railimages allows personal photos and video URLs, but not personal videos.
    Thanks, Hank

OOOPS, Please delete second post. Thanks.

Neither TrainBoard nor RailImages accepts these, due to their file size. They'd chew up our storage space, fast. The only way you can do it is by linking it in (embedding) from an external hosting site. Examples are: Dailymotion, Facebook, Liveleak, Metacafe, Vimeo and YouTube. Or if you have your own web site,...

Thanks Ken. I've posted it on Facebook. I'll see if I can locate that URL.

Ken, take a look at my post in Weekly and Special Threads. Why is the video from my Facebook account being blocked by Facebook, or possibly by TB?

Hank, you may need to set the sharing on your FB post to “everyone” for it to work correctly. You probably have it set to “friends only”

Hank- Looked at your FB page. See a post at top with a "content not available" message. Is this the video you noted? If not removed, then the setting for not sharing with non-friends is still in place.

I just shared it to my timeline. That might change things. I don't understand the inner workings of Facebook even after my grandson tried to explain. It appears illogical.

OK, I've now allowed the video to be seen by "anyone". Assuming I interpret the options correctly. Though this may mean it only can be seen by anyone who has a Facebook account. Like I said Facebook appears to be an illogical process that I don't understand.

Ken, please delete all my no-show video posts from the Weekly forum. I'll try another route. Thanks, Hank

I don't what I did right, but I was able to post the video to YouTube. So now it's view-able on the Weekly forum.
